CEOP or The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre have just released their Annual Report 2008-2009.

...we need to recognise, however, that the threat our children face is not about technology – it’s about people. When it comes
to safeguarding, we should make no distinction between the offline and the online worlds.

It is critically important that our children and young people are afforded the same protection whether they are in their local park, chatting to friends online via mobile technology or researching their homework on the
internet.

thanks for the post. I believe children now adays are more xposed with technology such like internet or via mobile technology chatting etc. offline and online are the same and it affects children I really do believe.
